Ways to Help

“The Woodon Forest Story and Art Program” is a creatively structured program designed for children in grades Kindergarten through 5. It spans for an hour, during which enchanting stories from the mystical ‘Woodon Forest’ are shared, captivating the young minds. After the storytelling session, each child is guided to their personal art station. Here, they have the opportunity to unleash their imagination, drawing and coloring scenes or characters from the story they just heard. This activity not only enhances their listening skills but also encourages artistic expression.

At the end of the program, a unique segment is introduced where each child proudly stands up to narrate their version of the story, based on their artwork. These stories are collected and preserved in individual folders, creating a personalized journey for each child through the program.

As a grand finale, each participant receives a special book titled “The Woodon Forest Book”. This book is not just any book - it is a compilation of the artwork and stories created by the children throughout the program, symbolizing their growth and creativity. While the kids are engaged in their coloring activities, the ambiance is enriched with songs from the ‘Woodon Forest’, a collection of melodies that resonate with the themes of the stories told. These songs add a musical dimension to the experience, making it more immersive and enjoyable for the children.
